This project was geared towards processing large amounts of data and putting it into a digestible design that is both appealing and informative. I chose to do an informational graphic on meteorite landings across the globe. Using public data provided by NASA, I used Processing to code a program that used coordinate systems to illustrate the more than 35,000 meteorite landings recorded and pushed that into an illustrator file to design the final product. Using size, color, and opacity, I created a graphic that displays the location of meteorite landings recorded as well as the density at which meteorites landed in that location.
