Designed for: Print in 4"x4" Squares

These architectural studies are focused on exploring what the Adobe Illustrator software was capable of and practicing creating vector shapes out of images and developing a color palette. By limiting myself to a color palette of 3 colors with only slight variations in value, I aimed to create a cohesive composition of different buildings.

Process:

For this project, I took pictures of the University of San Francisco campus and focused on architectural elements that I thought were striking and dynamic. Each row of 3 prints were designed to have their 'skylines' match up for visual interest.
